Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne Find Success

Cheyenne won the last time they faced Mater Academy East Las Vegas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Desert Shields came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Prince Lupac, who had six kills, three digs, three aces, and two blocks.

Cheyenne's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-19. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Cheyenne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Sierra Vista on the 5th. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Durango on the 5th.
