Recap: South Hills Scorpions vs. Arlington Heights Yellowjackets
The South Hills Scorpions lost against the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. South Hills was outmatched by Arlington Heights on the road and fell 68-10. South Hills was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Ava Guerrero and
Jocelyn Rockingham, who each put up four points.
South Hills bumped their record down to 2-19 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Arlington Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
South Hills will be home for the holidays to greet Polytechnic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Polytechnic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Arlington Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Everman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
