Volleyball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Loss

Wausau West was the 3-0 winner over D.C. Everest when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evergreens on Saturday.

Lilly Peterson was a one-woman wrecking crew For D.C. Everest. as she had 25 digs and one assist. Peterson has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Wausau West's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for D.C. Everest, their win bumped their record up to 13-15.

Wausau West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Stevens Point on the 11th. As for D.C. Everest, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln on the 11th.
