Montour has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Montour's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Spartans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Central Catholic, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Montour continue to outrun the ball?
Montour couldn't quite finish off Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in March of 2021 and fell 9-7. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
