South Caldwell had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the West Caldwell Warriors 42-26 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Holland Weisner was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kaedynce Setzer, who put up eight points.

Coincidentally, South Caldwell and West Caldwell will both be playing West Wilkes the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Blackhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
