The Grace Christian Lions lost against the Sumter Christian Bears last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grace Christian was dealt a 62-28 defeat at the hands of Sumter Christian. Grace Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Aj Danzy, who scored 32 points for Sumter Christian. The matchup was Danzy's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Quayshawn While was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sumter Christian, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Northside Christian School the next time they take the court. Sumter Christian will host Northside Christian School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Grace Christian will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
