Basketball Recap: Alamogordo Wins Going Away Against Deming

Alamogordo won the last time they faced Deming and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alamogordo Tigers blew past the Deming Wildcats 59-36. The Tigers pushed the score to 47-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Alamogordo is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Deming, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Alamogordo will challenge Los Lunas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alamogordo is facing Los Lunas at the right time seeing as Los Lunas is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Deming, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Deming Wildcats duke it out with the Gadsden Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
