Basketball Game Preview: Grady Wildcats vs. Sands Mustangs

Grady hasn't had much luck against Sands recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Grady Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sands Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Sands took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grady, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Grady was fully in charge, breezing past Dawson 57-12. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Sands' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Borden County, falling 42-19. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Coyotes are ranked 200th).

The win made it two in a row for Grady and bumps their season record up to 11-13. As for Sands, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.
