Softball Recap: Memorial's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Memorial and Liberty pushed the score to 19-2 the last time they played Liberty, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Warriors fell 3-0 to the Redhawks. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

With the loss, Memorial broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-10. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memorial is set to square off against their familiar foe Frisco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty will face off against rival Emerson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
