Football Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

Creston is still winless after their game against Atlantic on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-27 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trojans. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Creston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Atlantic, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Creston is set to square off against their familiar foe Harlan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Atlantic will take on rival Perry at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
