Hayes is 9-1 against Big Walnut since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hayes Pacers will head out on the road to square off against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Hayes has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 889 points over their last 13 games.

Hayes posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 81-58 margin over Olentangy. Given Hayes' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Olentangy is ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Big Walnut scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 76-43 victory over Thomas Worthington on the road. Big Walnut has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Hayes' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.33 points. As for Big Walnut, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Hayes beat Big Walnut 64-55 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hayes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
