Soccer Game Preview: Analy vs. Piner + How To Watch

The Analy Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Piner Prospectors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Analy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Analy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Healdsburg. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Analy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Healdsburg are ranked 628th).

Meanwhile, Piner had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Lobos. Piner's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Analy's record is now 13-0-2. As for Piner, their record now sits at 6-3-3.
