Baseball Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, South Garner was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cleveland Rams, falling 18-2. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Rams when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hunter Graham was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last four games he's played.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Cleveland, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Cleveland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Willow Spring on the 30th. Hopefully South Garner paid attention to the Rams' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
