The Pathway Christian Panthers will challenge the Quad Cities Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pathway Christian has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 3.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pathway Christian faced off against Galesburg Christian on Friday. Pathway Christian received a blow as they fell 51-33 to Galesburg Christian. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 18 points.

Pathway Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lorena Helmuth, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards, and Maggie Shetler, who posted three points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Quad Cities Christian came up short against Galesburg Christian on Tuesday and fell 35-22.

Pathway Christian will need focus on slowing down Jada Britton, one of several Quad Cities Christian players who made an impact when they last played. She earned six points along with six rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Britton a new career-high in blocks (three). Ayda Kyer was another key player, putting up four points along with eight steals and six boards.

Pathway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Quad Cities Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
