Mt. Shasta is 9-1 against Weed since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Mt. Shasta will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Mt. Shasta beat Etna 3-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Weed faced off against Etna on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 3-1 to the Lions.

While Weed ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23.

Weed's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Mt. Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-2.

Mt. Shasta was able to grind out a solid win over Weed in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
