Volleyball Recap: Medina Battling Bees vs. South Rebels

Medina lost against South back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Medina Battling Bees fell 3-1 to the South Rebels. While the Battling Bees didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rebels 25-15 in the first set.

Medina started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.

Even though they lost, Medina was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matches.

Kelly West was a one-man wrecking crew for South as she had 12 digs and two aces.
