Soccer Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

Woodbridge fell victim to Laguna Beach and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breakers.

Woodbridge's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 2-5-2. As for Laguna Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Woodbridge has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Santa Barbara on the 20th. As for Laguna Beach, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Margaret's at 3:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
