Putnam County's loss ends four-game winning streak at home

The Putnam County Panthers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. Their tough 53-29 defeat to St. Bede might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Putnam County of the 51-44 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Ali Bosnich, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds for St. Bede. Ella Hermes was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Putnam County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8. As for St. Bede, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.
Putnam County will head out on the road to square off against St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Bede will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. They will take on Putnam County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
