Softball Game Preview: Hingham Harbormen vs. Plymouth North Eagles

Hingham hasn't had much luck against Plymouth North recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Harbormen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Hingham will be strutting in after a win while Plymouth North will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Hingham got the win against Scituate by a conclusive 26-5. The victory continues a trend for the Harbormen in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Plymouth North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 11-8 to Hanover. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Sam Moschella led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Fabry, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

The win got Hingham back to even at 1-1. As for Plymouth North, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
