Soccer Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seymour can now relate to. They came up short against the Winneconne Wolves on Saturday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Seymour can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Winneconne are ranked 40th).

Seymour has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Winneconne, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Seymour nor Wolves have any future games scheduled.
