Softball Recap: Show Low Cougars vs. Winslow Bulldogs
Show Low was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 15-3 loss at the hands of the Winslow Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Show Low of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on April 2nd.
Brooklynn Lang made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Unphress, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and a double.
On Winslow's side, Angela Salazar was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Ara Leonard was another key contributor, going 1-for-1 with a home run and three RBI.
