Volleyball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Comes Up Short

Pierre T.F. Riggs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Jefferson Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The Governors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

Marena Buschbom paced Pierre T.F. Riggs' offense, picking up five kills. Buschbom got some help from Sloane Waldron and her ten assists. Hadley Hart controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Pierre T.F. Riggs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will take on Aberdeen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
