Volleyball Recap: Wando Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Summerville

Wando faced Summerville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Warriors fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Wando's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Summerville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Wando will head out to take on Ashley Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Summerville, they will venture away from home to challenge Lucy Beckham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
