Joseph Tapia gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Tuesday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Tapia and Glendale will be playing in front of their home fans against Lancaster at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will enter the matchup having just beaten Burroughs, so the Nitros will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
