Volleyball Recap: Northridge Knights vs. Clearfield Falcons
Northridge was the 3-2 winner over Clearfield when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Northridge Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clearfield Falcons on Thursday.
Northridge took a 1-1 lead headed into the third set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 15-25, 25-21, 25-22.
Among those leading the charge was Michelle Llosas, who had seven digs and two aces. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in aces.
Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Clearfield, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will take on Bountiful at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight.
