Football Recap: Center Point-Urbana Takes a Loss

Center Point-Urbana came into this matchup off a tough 28-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Central DeWitt by a score of 27-24 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Stormin' Pointers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Central DeWitt are ranked 43rd).

Center Point-Urbana has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Central DeWitt, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

As of now, neither Center Point-Urbana nor Central DeWitt have any future games scheduled.
