Basketball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Banks Braves, falling 52-32. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Braves are ranked 16th).

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Banks, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-3.

Coming up, Riverdale will challenge Neah-Kah-Nie at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Banks, they will face off against St. Helens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
