Middleton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Leto Falcons by a score of 35-28. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Aljavonnie T Daymon was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 124 yards and four touchdowns. Jovaughn Dock was another key player, rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Dock wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Middleton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leto only rushed for 64.
Despite the loss, Leto still got an impressive performance from Jakobe Bruton, who threw for 108 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 49 yards. Ty Taylor also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.
