Softball Game Preview: Louise Hornets vs. Shiner Comanches

Louise hasn't had much luck against Shiner recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Comanches at 6:00 p.m. Louise has given up an average of 18.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Louise fell victim to Ganado and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 33 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Shiner entered their tilt with Bloomington on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Bobcats/Lady Cats get on the board and left with a 25-0 win. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Louise's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Shiner, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
