Recap: Miami East Vikings vs. Milton-Union Bulldogs
The Miami East Vikings won against the Milton-Union Bulldogs last Tuesday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Miami East simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Milton-Union 56-29 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-15.
Despite the loss, Milton-Union still got an impressive performance from Wyatt Kimmel, who scored seven points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zach Lovin, who scored eight points.
The win makes it two in a row for Miami East and bumps their season record up to 10-6. As for Milton-Union, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami East will take on Troy Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milton-Union, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Arcanum at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. Hopefully Arcanum focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
