Basketball Recap: Charles City Takes a Loss

Charles City suffered their biggest loss since January 17th on Monday. They had to suffer through an 82-47 loss at the hands of the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

Looking ahead, Charles City won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Center Point-Urbana at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, they will challenge Mason City at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
