Benedictine proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Episcopal Titans, sneaking past 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Cadets: when they faced off against the Titans back in April, they had to take a 6-2 defeat.

Benedictine is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-15-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Episcopal, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Benedictine will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cadets are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinity Episcopal, they will be playing at home against Woodberry Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
