Softball Recap: Pompano Beach Comes Up Short

Pompano Beach came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Stoneman Douglas Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in March.

Pompano Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DANI EBERT, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Pompano Beach and nudges their season record down to 13-10. As for Stoneman Douglas, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

As for Stoneman Douglas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Coral Glades on the 28th.
