Football Preview: Roswell Hornets vs. River Ridge Knights
Two dominant signal callers in Trey Smith and Ethan Spector are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Roswell Hornets and the River Ridge Knights will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Roswell will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Roswell's upcoming game probably won't be as stressful as their last, when they took on another nationally ranked opponent: Milton, who was ranked second at the time (Roswell was ranked 65th). Despite their defeat, Roswell saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Smith, who threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. 88 of those passing yards were hauled in by Nytrevain Davenport, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for River Ridge and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Roswell, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2.
