It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bremen ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves, sneaking past 61-59. The victory was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Despite the loss, Thornton Fractional South still got an impressive performance from Orville Cross, Jr., who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 17 rebounds. With that strong performance, Cross, Jr. is now averaging an impressive 8 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Whitehead, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Bremen's win bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Thornton Fractional South, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-19.

Bremen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thornton Fractional South, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-40 loss against Lincoln-Way Central on the 14th.
