Isabella (Beya) Chase and Sedelia Wilson-larkin secure win for Saint Mary's Hall

Recap: Saint Mary's Hall Barons vs. Lubbock Christian Eagles

The Saint Mary's Hall Barons won the last time they faced the Lubbock Christian Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Saint Mary's Hall snuck past Lubbock Christian with a 54-48 victory.

Leading Saint Mary's Hall to victory were Isabella (Beya) Chase and Sedelia Wilson-larkin. Chase scored 18 points along with three steals, while Wilson-larkin dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Wilson-larkin is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Emily Ton, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.

Saint Mary's Hall's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Lubbock Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Saint Mary's Hall will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against TMI-Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. TMI-Episcopal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1437th, while Saint Mary's Hall is ranked 222nd). As for Lubbock Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Calvary Academy at 6:00 p.m.
