Soccer Recap: Knightdale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Knightdale managed to keep up with Sanderson until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights came up short against the Spartans, falling 4-1. Knightdale haven't had much luck with Sanderson recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Knightdale's goal came courtesy of Luis Martinez-Rivera, which was the first he's scored this season.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Sanderson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Knightdale wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against J.F. Webb on the 27th. As for Sanderson, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Clayton on the 27th.
