Basketball Game Preview: Moline Maroons vs. Quincy Blue Devils

Moline has won 18 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Quincy has won 18 straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Moline Maroons will host the Quincy Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Moline didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mt. Zion, but they still walked away with a 65-60 win.

Meanwhile, Quincy made easy work of Springfield on Saturday and carried off an 80-56 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Moline's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Quincy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.

Moline won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, slipping by Quincy 42-41. Does Moline have another victory up their sleeve, or will Quincy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
