After a string of five wins, Brimfield's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeville Princes. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Princes earlier this season, when they won 46-42.

Brimfield's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Princeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brimfield will take on Galva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Galva will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Brimfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Princeville, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
