Baseball Recap: Bellows Falls Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Bellows Falls had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Windsor Yellowjackets on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Terriers as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Eli Allbee, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Bazin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bellows Falls pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Windsor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
