After a string of eight wins, South Lakes's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Robinson Rams by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Seahawks have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Mia Buntin was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Zeigler, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

South Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Robinson, their record is now 4-6.

Looking ahead, South Lakes will be taking part in a tournament against Bishop McNamara at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robinson, they will take on George C. Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
