Oak Hills had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They blew past the Hesperia Scorpions 45-0. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christopher Martin, who rushed for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. Jacob Webster was another key passer, throwing for 248 yards and one TD on only 18 passes.

Another reason for the win was Oak Hills' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Ritchie Avei was especially locked on to Hesperia's QB and sacked him twice. Sione Felila was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Oak Hills' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hesperia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Oak Hills will head out to square off against Pacifica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 943 yards in their previous games. As for Hesperia, they will be playing at home against Moreno Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Scorpions will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games.
