Basketball Recap: Poly Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Poly had no trouble coming through when it counted. They slipped by the Grant Lancers 50-49 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Parrots in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poly to victory, but perhaps none more so than JD Wyatt, who posted 27 points. The game was Wyatt's 38th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Quian Khawaja, who scored 16 points.

Poly's record now sits at 23-9. As for Grant, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-14.

As of now, neither Poly nor Grant have any future games scheduled.
