Flag Football Recap: San Juan Hills Takes a Loss

San Juan Hills extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-16. They came up short against the Mission Viejo Diablos, falling 26-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Diablos this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-0 loss back in September.

As for Mission Viejo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-13. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 169th, while San Juan Hills is ranked 342nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mission Viejo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bailey McNeal, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of her passes. Those 187 passing yards gave McNeal a new career-high.

San Juan Hills has already played their next matchup (against San Clemente), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mission Viejo also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Aliso Niguel.
