Baseball Recap: Idaho Falls Victorious

Idaho Falls made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Burley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Idaho Falls Tigers put the hurt on the Burley Bobcats with a sharp 15-7 win on Saturday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Anthony Morales was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Tegan Sorenson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

Idaho Falls' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Burley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
