Volleyball Recap: Moundridge's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Moundridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sterling Black Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Moundridge took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12.

Moundridge's victory bumped their record up to 32-2-1. As for Sterling, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Moundridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Trinity on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling will take on rival Bennington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
