Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook North Spartans vs. Glenbrook South Titans
Glenbrook North lost against Glenbrook South back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Glenbrook North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-16.
Luke King paced Glenbrook North's offense, picking up 11 kills. King got some help from Devin Lee and his 15 assists. Finally, Jake Brandner kept Glenbrook North's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Glenbrook South found their leader in sophomore Logan Ball, who had eight digs and two aces.
