Millard South put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lincoln Southeast Knights 77-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Millard South's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jett Thomalla, who threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Thomalla has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last 16 times he's played. Gabe Prucha was in the mix too, providing Millard South with four TDs.

Millard South didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lincoln Southeast to a completion percentage of just 35.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Teagan Urban, Urban Kennedy, and Jack Ladd, who each logged one passes deflected. Millard South hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.65 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Millard South's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up 8.5 sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Daxton Williams and Brody Anderson, who racked up four sacks between them. The game marked Anderson's first with multiple sacks this season. Urban was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss), and defending one pass.

Millard South's record now sits at 5-0. As for Lincoln Southeast, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Millard South is taking a road trip to challenge Papillion-LaVista at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will be playing at home against Lincoln High at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
