Soccer Recap: Grand Saline Comes Up Short

Grand Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Chapel Hill Bulldogs, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in January.

Grand Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Grand Saline has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chapel Hill, they will venture away from home to square off against Bullard at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Chapel Hill is facing Bullard at the right time seeing as Bullard is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
