Softball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Gets the Win

Benjamin Franklin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Jefferson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Benjamin Franklin never let West Jefferson get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 14-2 win the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Benjamin Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for West Jefferson, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Benjamin Franklin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-1 loss against Pearl River on the 21st. As for West Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against John Ehret at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Ehret will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
